lastminute.com Content Design Projects
Some examples of UX content design work delivered for the lastminute.com mobile app. My focus was on improving clarity, reducing cognitive load, and helping users understand functionality quickly within transactional flows.
Favourites feature
Context
The Favourites feature allows users to save hotels to a personalised list for later reference within the app.

Challenge
The primary challenge was balancing clear functional communication with a tone that still felt engaging and aligned with lastminute.com'’'s brand. Early design concepts leaned towards more aspirational, advertorial language, which risked obscuring the feature'’'s purpose.
Content decision
For the empty state, I reworked the designer's proposed headline “Hotels you dream of” to “Save your faves!”.
This change:
- Made the action clearer and more explicit
- Used more casual, human language consistent with app tone
- Reduced ambiguity about what the feature does and how to use it
Outcome
The revised copy prioritised clarity while maintaining a friendly tone, helping users immediately understand the value and function of the feature.
Change Language bottom sheet
I was asked to reword a bottom sheet menu that gets shown to users when they attempt to change the language of the app.

Outcome
The simplified content maintained the necessary information while making the interaction easier to scan and understand, particularly for users encountering the message unexpectedly.
